Dear parents and students,

| 大家正在享受暑假的樂趣時，
學校正在各方面密鑼緊鼓準備開學，例如各項維修、書簿訂購、學生活動等。
衷心多謝各位老師、職員、工友不辭勞苦地為新一年的開始作好準備。

|
In August, everybody was enjoying the summer
holiday while our school was preparing intensely for the new academic year.
For example, we had various maintenance works, we ordered new school books,
and we prepared activities for students. A big thank you to our teachers,
staff and janitors for putting themselves out
selflessly for the school.

|
暑假期間，老師帶領同學參加了一些活動，
當中包括:香港青少年軍總會舉辦的「升旗活動」、防虐待兒童會的「賣旗籌款活動」、
嶺南大學舉辦的「環保小偵探」活動。老師們在八月中旬已經回校工作，他們參加了一些工作坊，
希望在教學上有所得益。老師們亦進行不同的會議，為新學年作好準備。

During the summer holiday, our teachers took
our students to join some activities, including the flag-raising activity hosted
by Hong Kong Army Cadets Association, the flag-selling fundraising activity by
Against Child Abuse, and the Pollution Detectives activity hosted by Lingnan
University. Our teachers were already hard at work in mid-August. They participated
in various professional development workshops; I hope these workshops would
be beneficial to their teaching. After that, we had numerous meetings in
preparation for the new academic year.

小一家長會及小一適應課程於八月二十五日舉行，
小一新生們精神奕奕地開始小學生活。而二至六年級同學亦已安排於八月二十六至三十日進行網上課程，
好讓同學們在九月一日開學前作好準備。 |
On 25 August, we had our P.1 Parents’
Seminar and P.1 Orientation Programme. Our students began their primary
school life energetically! In addition, our teachers scheduled three days
of online classes for the end of the month, enabling our students to be
fully prepared for the first day of school on 1 September.

相信大家在暑假期間，一定有看到奧運會的比賽項目。
今年，香港取得驕人成績，獲得一金二銀三銅，這些獎牌得來不易。新的一年，希望同學也有着香港運
動員不屈不撓及永不放棄的精神，無論在學業上或活動上，也盡力做到最好！LTY,GO! |
I believe everybody watched some of
the events in the Olympics. This year, Hong Kong earned impressive results!
We earned one gold, two silver and three bronze medals. These medals were
hard-earned! Going forward, I hope our students will also have the same
indomitable and unyielding spirit in their studies or other activities,
and that they will always do their best! LTY, GO!
